BRAIN OF INDIA

BRAIN OF INDIA is a Socio-educational Organization to help, guide and support the talented but needy students across the nation, at secondary and higher secondary level of study. It has been formed by self motivated group of students from various IIMs, IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISERs, BITS, BIT-Mesra, VIT & other premier engineering and medical colleges of India. It is working under the guidance of eminent personalities of India from the field of academics, administration and industry, and is being mentored by successful alumni from various IITs and NITs. It is being registered as a non-profit organization.

Now I-DESIRE, along with all Executives of BRAIN OF PATNA, BRAIN OF BIHAR and in association with all India famous teachers of different subjects, is working all over India. Now the organisation is combinedly known as BRAIN OF INDIA.

It's a well known fact that every year students are facing a number of problems regarding their stream selection, teacher selection, mode of preparation, choice of career and their counselling for colleges, and only better equipped, fully armed and fiercely trained with perfect temperament of a true champion can make it through. Hence as a midway solution a committee of well established students as well as eminent teachers have come up with a solution to attend to most of the problems irrespective of boundaries of states in unison, at national level under an organisation BRAIN OF INDIA, which is formed by the students, for the students, so as to make the path of success a bit easier for the forthcoming generation.

Earlier Achievements

This educational organisation has a great history and has origin at Patna where it started. After that it evolved to state level as brain of Bihar jointly conducted in Bihar and Jharkhand. Now it has become Brain of India at national level. The main perspective of the organisation is not to encourage any particular career option or to train students for entrance examinations rather it is to motivate students to feel the charisma they pursue and channelise the energy towards their ambition. It is in welfare of the student community particularly having weak economical background but are the prodigies in educational fields.

BRAIN OF PATNA: it started under the guidance of Abhyanand sir, ADGP of police, Bihar and got huge popularity among students.

BRAIN OF BIHAR: After the huge success of Brain of Patna, it rose up to state level under the guidance of Abhyanand sir and his team and became very popular in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, some part of West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. Every year, more and more number of students participated in the events of Brain of Bihar, it became a big hit when the Brain of Bihar-2003, Divyanshu Jha from St.Michael's School, Patna, won bronze medal in the International Physics Olympiad 2006. He also got AIR 10 in IIT JEE 2006 in General category. The list of laurels doesn't end here rather it has just started listing.

BOI-OLYMPIAD :-

Registration with the BOI is a prerequisite for taking part is BOI Olympiad.

The BOI Olympiad is a nationwide two step exam which is to test the students of the secondary and higher secondary level and to seek out the best.

Not only that, we shall provide continuous advice , Guidance and support to all the students who have been a part of the Olympiad. We envisage the Olympiads as a tool to bring all the students to the same level field and thus providing them equal opportunity.

The BOI Olympiad has two steps:

The first exam will be a Preliminary Test conducted in the same school as in which the students are studying.

The results of the Preliminary Test will be announced in the week following the test, and list of all the selected students will be displayed in each of participating school.

We shall declare a cut off mark for the Preliminary Test. The students who have cleared this cut-off will be eligible for the Second stage of the Olympiad.

The second stage of the Olympiad will be conducted in one designated centre for each city.

Examination Pattern

Preliminary Test :-

The allotted time for the exam is 90 minutes in which the students have to solve 90 objective type questions. The questions will test the student’s aptitude and mental analytical skills.

There will be two different test papers. One such paper is common for students of 9^th and 10^th standard (simple level) while the other is common for 11^th and 12^th standard (higher level).

Main Test :-

The allotted time for the exam is 90 minutes in which the students have to solve 60 objective type questions. The questions will test the student’s higher analytical skills.

The test paper will be common for 9^th and 10^th standard and for 11^th and 12^th standard.

Prizes and certificates

At all India level

Top 50 students will get Special Prizes

Top 1000 students will be awarded Certificate of Excellence.

TOP 50 best performing school will be awarded Certification for being the Centers of Educational Excellence.

At state level

Top 10 students will get Prizes apart from the Certification of Merit.

Top50 Students will get Certificate of Excellence.

One of the Top School in each school will be Awarded Certification for being the Centers of Educational Excellence.
